What It Is
Abandoned Browse automation sends a reminder to shoppers who viewed a product detail page but didn’t add to cart, checkout, or purchase.
It re-engages window shoppers and drives them back while the product is still fresh in their mind — often converting casual interest into a sale.
Example Message
MMS with product image (SMS fallback if not supported):
“{{product_name}} is still available, but popular styles move fast. Take another look before it’s gone: {{product_url}} 👀”
Best-Practice Default Settings
- Message Type: MMS with product image (preferred); SMS fallback if image not available
- Timing: 60 minutes after the last product view
Inclusions
- Customer viewed a product detail page (PDP)
- User is identified and opted in
- Product is in stock
Suppressions
- If an order has been placed within the last 7 days
- Quiet hours: 8 PM–8 AM local (messages queued until morning)
Product Logic
- Sends featuring the most recently viewed product
Frequency Controls
- Max 1 message per product per 7 days (cooldown window)
